Installation is basically doable with the necessary job experience but we recommend hiring an installer for best results.
Due to transportation and the weight of the furniture, we will deliver the furniture, top and other items to you separately. Please provide muscle to lift the furniture and other items upstairs.
Be sure to lift the blade on its side. We recommend a Hi-Tec mounting sealant for gluing the top and an acid-free silicone sealant for sealing the top.

Natural materials deserve attention. Our coating makes the furniture water-repellent, but not water-resistant. Therefore, we recommend choosing a stone top. It is important to maintain and wipe down the top of the furniture well, just like with a countertop. Make sure that no water remains on the furniture. This way your furniture will last the longest.

Dear customer, we work with a regular carrier. The carrier delivers the furniture at a delivery time he agrees with you. We ask that you help this transporter as much as possible. Make sure the place where the furniture will be placed is free of obstacles. A cup of coffee is always appreciated by our transporter.

Meet the maker

Poul Cadovius was born in 1911 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, and started out as an upholsterer and saddler. He became inspired to design furniture.
In 1945, he started his own company, Royal System.
Shortly thereafter, he got the idea to design a modular wall system.
With this system he received several awards, making him internationally known.

In the 1960s, he bought France & Son, a famous furniture company, and reformed it into CADO.

Poul Cadovius was also one of the first furniture designers to work with plastics.
