Natural materials deserve attention. Our coating makes the furniture water-repellent, but not water-resistant. Therefore, we recommend choosing a stone top. It is important to maintain and wipe down the top of the furniture well, just like with a countertop. Make sure that no water remains on the furniture. This way your furniture will last the longest.
Dear customer, we work with a regular carrier. The carrier delivers the furniture at a delivery time he agrees with you. We ask that you help this transporter as much as possible. Make sure the place where the furniture will be placed is free of obstacles. A cup of coffee is always appreciated by our transporter.
Meredew was founded in 1879 by Daniel Meredew in London, who made only overmantles and sideboards, in partnership with mirror supplier Hard & Austin. In 1903, Daniel retired and the son of Hard & Austin's owner took over the company, retaining the Meredew name.
The company grew rapidly, doubling its workforce and moving to a larger factory in Hertfordshire in 1913. After World War I, Meredew expanded its offerings to include furniture for dining rooms and bedrooms.
During World War II, they produced panels for gliders.
After the war, the company continued to grow, with the number of employees increasing from 50 to nearly 1,500 in 15 years.
In 1990, Meredew closed its doors.
At Sixty Fruits , personalization is very important to us. With us, it is therefore always possible to put together our furniture according to your wishes. For example, converting a dresser into a bathroom cabinet and vice versa. Curious about the possibilities? Visit our showroom or make an appointment. Our advisors will be happy to help you!
